Fogo with M

Friday, M and I had our 3rd date!!! Look out now! :)

M met me at my apartment around 6:45pm. We chatted for about 15 minutes and then headed to Fogo de Chao. (He was so cute, he made a reservation for 7:30, so we got right in and sat down.)

Keep in mind that the last time I went to Fogo, I think I was like 18 or so, it had been years!!!! But it was as delicious as ever! We loaded up our plates at the salad bar and talked while we got ready to get meat drunk. I wasn't sure what I wanted and didn't want to be overwhelmed with choices, so I didn't turn my card to green. I let M do all the work! We had chicken legs, lamb, filet, bacon covered chicken and yummy sirloin. (the sirloin was my fave!)

We flagged down our waitress and had her bring us some mashed potatoes. I may or may not have asked for macaroni and cheese....the waitress looked at me like I had 3 heads and said (almost laughing) "we don't have that here." (Now, I know what you are thinking "Um, Fogo is a BRAZILIAN steakhouse, genius!" Yes, but they had mashed potatoes and I really wanted macaroni and cheese! Laugh and get it over with........)

After we were sufficiently stuffed, we ordered dessert. (Duh!) We had the fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream. It was awesome!!

On the drive home, M put his hand on the console...I knew that he was wanting, so just for fun I ignored it. After a few minutes, he said "Um, hello!? Do you see my hand?" I said "Yep" and gave him a high 5!! 

We got back to my place and just talked for about 20 minutes and then he left. He had to work on Saturday and so I didn't want to keep him out too late. (I'm so nice!) After a sweet kiss on the cheek, he left. (That's right, it was our 3rd date and I got a kiss on the cheek! We aren't rushing into anything and I think its completely sweet!)

When he got home, I got this text:
"Thank you for going to dinner with me. I enjoy the time I spend with you. You make me laugh and I feel very comfortable with you. I would like to continue on this path. I want to take you out again. How does that sound?"

4th DATE SCORE!!!! I'm having so much fun getting to know him and it makes me happy to know he feels the same!

Who knows....maybe kissing this frog is not too far off......
