Date with J

Last night I had a date with J. I met him on Zoosk and after chatting back and forth for a few days, he asked me out. We had originally planned to go out on Monday, but someone forgot (him, not me) and so after an apology we rescheduled for last night.

We met up at Gringos on 45 at 8pm. (I LOVE Mexican food, even though I am lactose intolerant...all that yummy cheese!!! Gotta love Lactaid!) He was cool, but seemed very distracted....kept checking his phone and looking around. He finished his meal SUPER fast, so then I felt weird and tried to hurry. (I've been told I'm a slow eater!) 

We chatted about where he is from, what he does and the usual first date get to know you topics. (He seemed surprised when I told him I have 4 brothers and that they don't know they are younger than me....fiercely protective!) Then we talked about the weather! (WHAT!?!?!) I mean I am a huge weather junkie but to talk about it on a date...for like 10 minutes.....not a good sign. 

After our 45 minute dinner, we left. He walked me to my car and gave me a hug and that was that.

This morning he text me and asked if he was someone I would want to see again. I told him that yesterday seemed a little off. He said he was nervous and would like to see me again. (It makes me laugh that he was nervous. I am SO not the type of person to be nervous around. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a huge nerd and embarrass myself daily!) If he asks out again, I'd go. Just so I can try to get a feel for how he is....but then again, I''m not quite sure I was feeling it. Dating is hard! 

Oh a side note, for all you M fans out there......he text me last night after the date was over (he didn't know I had a date) and when I told him how it was, he said "Yes! Another one bites the dust!" LOL!!! We have a date on Friday, should be fun. He is hard at work thinking about what to do. He knows the pressure is on!
