Date with M

So I had a friend text me and tell me that posting about my dating life on FB makes me look desperate! Here is my take on that....whatever! It's my life! I stopped caring about others opinions a LONG time ago. I'm me and if you don't like it, too bad.

**RANT OVER**

I had my date with M last night. (Remember I met him on POF) We exchanged numbers a while back and its been fun to get to know him over text. We have a mutual friend so I figured if he turned out to be crazy, then I'd just call our friend and have him take care of it. (I have friends in high and low places!!)

We met at Escalante's at Town & Country. He lives in Katy and I'm in the Galleria so it was a good halfway point. Traffic was (of course) HORRIBLE, so I was a few minutes late. When I got there, he said that he had bought me a present..and hands me this:

I started cracking up! Does he get me or what!?!??! I could tell we were going to have a great time!! We had a great dinner and the conversation flowed...no awkwardness at all. (But when is there awkwardness with me anyway!?!??!)

At this particular Escalante's they have a bull head on the wall. This woman, who was there with what looked like her family, got up and asked a waiter to take pics of her with the bull head. She started posing and we think he took like 20 pics! She didn't look like she was drunk....but then who gets up and takes smiling, POSED pics of a bull head!?!?!? (I'm not even kidding y'all. She posed right, she posed left. She was getting her pic with that bull!)

After dinner, he walked me to my car and we hugged bye. He told me to text him when I got home so he would know I made it home ok. (So nice!) When i got home, this was our exchange:

ME: "Home! Thanks, I had fun!!"
HIM: No....Thank you. :) Glad you made it home okay. I had fun also! If your okay with it, I'd like to take you out again."

Second date SCORE!! He was very sweet, cute and a complete gentleman. He is a little bit shorter than me, (by like an inch or two) but it was fine. All in all I had a great time and am looking forward to getting to know him more. He was a GREAT guy and so we will see......
