On-Line Dating Part 2

I am stubborn! You would think that since things with P1 went so well, I would better vet any potential suitors...you would think I would learn..but we know me!

I scheduled a brunch date with P2. 11 am at the Black Walnut Cafe. (I LOVE their french toast!)

We meet there, get in line, order. Just general chit chat at first. He's cool. (Cuter in pics I think but he's cool. Looks aren't everything!!)

We were there for an hour and about 45 minutes. I think I was asked 1 question about me....ONE!

This is what I learned about P2:

• He likes to work out.
• He cooks all of his meals for the month in advance.
• He shops at Farmer's Markets.
• He works for a major oil company in IT.
• He has a house in Garden Oaks.
• He used to have a condo off of 59 that he sold to a guy for $500,000 cash.
• He has a friend in Newfinland (however you spell that)
• His parents are retiring in Georgia.
• He's looking for casual sex.
• He has had surgery on his thryoid, had his wisdom teeth removed, had LASIK, and had a cyst on his forehead removed.
• He owns 3 pairs of underwear.
• He buys them at Costco.
• His mom sent him some that were too big and he can't return them because he tried them on.
• Oh and let's not forget how hot he thinks I am!

Sounds like a winner folks! Ugh!! Seriously are the normal guys hiding!?!?! 

On to the next...maybe kissing frogs in 2014 wasn't so bad......

On-Line Dating Part 1

So its a new year, 2015! I wonder what this  year will have in store for me. Last year my resolution was to live each day with no regrets. For the most part, I did that. This year I have resolved to date more.......

At the encouraging of 2 friends, I got on some dating websites. I always said that I would never get on dating sites.....just seemed desperate....talk about eating my words!!!! So since I am a pro at this on-line dating thing, I  randomly picked 3 sites...Plenty of Fish (POF), LDS Singles and E-Harmony.

Let's start with POF! I got on there New Years Day. As soon as my profile was set up...BAM! Bombardment ensued!! I got messaged by a 24 year old who said "if you are looking for pleasure. let me know" (Charming right?) Every freak in a 25 mile radius (one guy was COVERED in tattoos) and a few seemingly normal guys, P1, P2, M, C and J.

So P1, he seemed like he might be a cool guy. He was cute in his pics. He messaged me and said "Your search is over! You have just met the most eligible bachelor on this site!" Ok, I'll bite....we send a new messages back and forth and he asks for my number. We text off and on and he seems pretty cool. It looks like he may be a good first on-line dating date. He sorta seems to be coming on strong, but have you met me!?!? Texts are flowing, things are going ok. I tell him I have to go the airport go pick up a friend. He asks if it's my boyfriend. (Why would I be on a dating site if I was seeing someone!?!?!) I say no, just a friend. He asks if its a guy friend? I say no, its my friend K. He said K!?! Sounds like a guy to me. (REALLY!?!?!?) We end our conversation and say we will talk the next day. The next morning he texts me at 6AM!!!! I am not awake at 6AM on my day off!!!! (10am is more like it!) We exchange a VERY few texts and say we will talk later. He calls me later that day and I was on the phone and and forgot to call him back. (Ever forget?? Happens to me!) Later I get this text: 
          "Guess you lost interest? Dick move not even having the courage to say anything. Have fun with POF"

I reply: "Dude! I have been busy today! Sorry."

Wait, what?! Does he assume that I am going to wait around for him to text me?!? And we JUST met...well  you know what i mean! DELETE! He then texts me and says that I should have had the guts to say I'm busy and I'll text you later and that I am a jerk. (Fine, I'm a jerk!) I don't respond and he keeps texting me....has to have the last word I guess. Whatever!

The next day I'm on FB and guess who appears in my "Who do you know?" P1! You bet I blocked him before he had a chance to see me. I don't need him messaging me there too, or knowing my last name. Weirdo!

So its looks like P1 was a VETO. Maybe one of the other guys will be normal. Why is it so hard to find a nice guy!?!?
