If you follow me on instagram, you might have seen some pics of "him." I've gotten lots of texts and messages asking who he is. I am keeping his name and picture private and when we are ready you will get all of the good stuff. This is what I can say about him.....
About 10 years ago, he was coming to Houston for work. He was living in Florida at the time. A mutual friend of ours suggested to him that he look me up and vice versa. We actually met at church and hung out for a few days while he was in town. We kept in touch over the years and as a joke I started proposing, every few months. "Marry me!?!" I'd say. At first he would laugh and then his responses turned into "maybe" or "one day." One year I didn't propose at all and he messaged me "Uh, hello?!? Remember me!?!" (I think he secretly liked it!)
A few weeks ago (about 3 to be exact) we were talking and he mentioned that he wanted to give us a try. "What do you think?" "HELLO! I've been proposing for YEARS!!! YES!" So we started looking at tickets and found one on United for $70! So he bought it and flew here the next day! It's been a great few weeks. We are getting to know each other and having so much fun!!! I still can 't believe he is here and after all this time we are finally getting our shot! I told him once that I always thought he was the one that got away. (Go ahead and say it.....AWE!)
He's met my family, that happened the first weekend he was here. They like him! My nieces LOVE him!!! He's spending Christmas with me and my family. At first, he planned on going home after a few days, then that turned into going home next week and now its in January. The plan is that he is going to officially move here!
